Our 15th annual event is "shore" to be our biggest and best yet! We can't wait to "sea" you at East End Park (beach) June 24-25, 2016. "Wading" until June is going to be the hardest part!

Cheese Curd Eats: Professional food vendors will be serving up cheese curds and lots of them! Menu items featuring these delectable white squeaky morsels will abound. Get your fill of both fresh and hand-battered deep fried curds and gourmet dipping sauces at the Chamber's Cheese Curd Central booth! Don't miss trying the new Cinnamon and Sugar Fried Cheese Curds. They're addictive and exclusive to the Cheese Curd Festival!
Entertainment: Our Festival has gained a reputation for bringing class-act entertainment to the area, and this year’s 15th annual event is no exception. Back by popular demand, the Beatles tribute band, Rubber Soul will once again entertain festival attendees. Plus, enjoy the music of Tom Petty with Free Fallin', and REO Speedwagon hits by Project 3:13, followed by a special set of 80's favorites sure to bring back memories! The full entertainment lineup will be announced soon.
Cheese Curd Eating Contest: Talk about an exciting competition! The Wall Street Journal says this is the contest for "Extreme Cheeseheads". Winners walk away with a trophy, cash, bragging rights and a full belly! Eaters compete in one of 6 age categories, with registration taking place just prior to the event. All are welcome to compete. The event kicks off at 3:30pm, Saturday, June 25 at the Main Stage.
Cheese Curd Run: 10K and 5K Runs offer an activity for all fitness levels and age groups! Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in each race, plus medals presented to age class winners in seven age classes! Registrations are now being accepted; the fee is $25. Register by June 10 and receive a commemorative Cheese Curd Festival t-shirt. Complete details and registration information can be found here.
3 on 3 Basketball Tournament: This is the third year for this popular and growing event! The tournament will take place at the Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery and is open to children and teens that have completed grades 4-9. Teams of 3-4 players are invited to participate. Get all the details here.

Craft & Business Show: The Craft & Business Show features local businesses and craftsmen displaying, demonstrating and selling their many handmade wares and products. Find hand-made crafts, locally made products, direct sale booths, carnival games and more! A list of participating vendors to be announced soon. Pancake Breakfast: A long-time tradition for the Festival, come enjoy S & S Sugar Bush pancakes with real maple syrup and all the fixin's in the open air of East End Park, 7:30-10:00am, Saturday, June 25.
Grand Parade: Everyone loves a parade! A time honored tradition, the Grand Parade is a favorite activity with businesses, organizations and royalty from throughout the county converging on Ellsworth to wave, throw candy, and complete for Best Float designation and prizes! Taking place at 1pm, Saturday, June 25. Due to road construction, watch for new route details.
Medallion Hunt: Participate in our annual medallion hunt for a chance to win $200! Clues are posted weekly here, on our Facebook page, and at Associated Bank, Bank Mutual, BMO Harris Bank and WESTconsin Credit Union, beginning Friday, May 27, at noon. Once you find the medallion, contact Raynee, Bank Mutual, at 715-273-4024, to arrange for a cash presentation and photo.
Pie & Dessert Contest & Auction: Local bakers get the recognition they deserve for their homemade pies and cheese curd desserts! Cash prizes and Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery gift cards totaling $300 (plus bragging rights) are up for grabs! Winners are announced and entries are auctioned off to the highest bidders at the Pie and Dessert Auction! Award presentations and auction will then take place at the Festival's Main Stage at 5pm.Bakers, bring your pie or cheese curd dessert to Floor 3 of the Ellsworth Creamery between 11am and 1pm Saturday, June 25. Complete your registration here.
Plus, Pickles the Clown, chainsaw art demonstrations, kids activities, bingo, meat raffles, prize give-aways and more throughout the festival!
