About Us

The Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce was started in 1957 as the Ellsworth Commercial and Civic Club. Currently 150 members strong, our organization supports the Ellsworth business community and areas beyond, through economic, industrial, professional, cultural, educational and civic initiatives.

Monthly member meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of each month, with various educational programs and networking, tourism events, social functions and promotions scheduled throughout the year. 

Our Board of Directors is elected annually and their guidance gives direction to Chamber committees and establishes and maintains procedure and policy. However, it's our active membership that allows our Chamber to succeed in its mission. Through the hard work and advocacy of our board, volunteers and members we're building a better community and making the Ellsworth area a wonderful place to live, work, visit and play.
