Turn Ellsworth Blue
Support the efforts of Spring Valley resident, Bobbie Jaeger, in turning Ellsworth Blue to support local law enforcement officers.
Starting at 6:30pm, Friday, November 11, and while supplies last, you can pick up a blue light at East End Park. Then proudly display your blue light outside of your home. Take the message viral by posting your blue light photos and messages of support to law enforcement via social media.
Donations will be accepted. Bobbie plans to use any funds received at the Ellsworth event to pay it forward and Turn River Falls Blue. Donations can also be made by mail by sending checks to W430 Golf View Drive, Spring Valley, WI 54767.
This effort was inspired by Rusk County deputy, Dan Glaze, who was killed in the line of duty on on October 29. It is meant to show support to local law enforcement for their hard work and dedication to their jobs, despite the many dangers. Bobbie shares her mission in the November 8 edition of the Pierce County Herald. Read the article here.Date and Time
