Production Machine Operator

Simply Staffing is looking for Production Machine Operators!
Shifts Available:

1st, 2nd and 3rd available – 12 and 8-hour shifts available 

Position Summary:
Responsible for operating press equipment to produce high quality parts while maintaining production levels consistent with position.

Essential Functions:

• Operate punch press and perform operations on a variety of parts as instructed by set-up manager.
• Perform hand and auto feeding of materials into press while operating foot pedal and hand controls.
• Record necessary counts and operation numbers as required.
• Perform visual quality checks and perform dimensional quality checks
• Responsible for checking parts against prints, standards and specifications.
• Check to ensure that all safety devices and equipment are on and in working order.

• Moderate manufacturing environment with a minimal exposure to noise and oil.
• Moderate to high physical activity, involving routine lifting (mechanical devices are available to assist in lifting), walking, standing and sitting for extended periods.
