Chamber members and members of the public may submit event information for inclusion on our community calendar, if that event is open to the general public, occurs within the Ellsworth, WI area and abides by our Community Event Calendar Policy, which can be viewed here.
The course provides a simulated practice of recording verbal communication encountered during patient-doctor interaction and the recording of clinical events as they unfold. It also includes a study of procedures related to the retrieval of diagnostic test results. Procedures used in scheduling diagnostic tests, follow-up appointments, etc., are discussed and practiced. An emphasis is placed on professional and ethical behavior in a clinical healthcare setting.
- Upon completion, you will receive a Certification of Completion from the American Healthcare Documentation Professionals Group (AHDPG) and are eligible to sit for the AHDPG National Certification exam.
