Welcome to EllsworthWith a population of 3,180, Ellsworth
is located in the geographical center of Pierce County and is proud to Ellsworth. At each entry point to the village stands a lighted sign proudly bearing the image of Colonel Elmer Ephraim Ellsworth, a friend of President Lincoln and a Civil War hero. In 1984, Ellsworth was proclaimed the Cheese Curd Capital of Wisconsin by Governor Anthony S. Earl. We proudly celebrate this honor with our Annual Cheese Curd Festival. You'll also see the Cheese Curd Festival banners adorning Main Street. In Ellsworth, well established enterprises thrive as new businesses abound in and near the village while Ellsworth's East End Industrial Parks has 10 acres available and 13 acres available in Crossing Meadows Business Park to the north. With an eye on the future, Ellsworth also continues to grow with several new housing, commercial, and senior housing developments. Land For Sale
The Ellsworth area has many parcels of land available for commercial development. Besides the East End Industrial Park we have recently made the large and expansive Crossing Meadows Business Park available to builders.
