Ellsworth Chamber Members Acknowledge Local Teachers

It's no secret that we have a stellar school system! The Ellsworth Community School District administrators and staff work hard to ensure our communities' kids thrive and realize their fullest potential. Our chamber members wished to acknowledge those who are educating our future community citizens and business leaders with a special appreciation luncheon.

The Salute to Teacher's Luncheon took place at the Ellsworth High School Cafetorium on Wednesday, August 24, with over 200 teachers and business community members in attendance. During the event chamber member sponsors treated local educators to lunch and appreciated them for going the extra mile for our kids throughout the school year.

Chamber President, Matthew Anderson, reminded those present of their important role within the community and the synergy that can be created when businesses and the school district staff join forces.

Chamber Director, Russ Korpela, then thanked the teachers for their hard work and dedication and the important role they play in our community, reminding them that they are on the front lines and key players in creating the future workforce for our area.

School District Superintendent, Barry Cain, thanked the chamber for the support of the business community. From referendum votes to support of various school programs, the business community is always ready to lend a hand.
